Wow, Some Rich Folks Really Do Give To The Poor After All., Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan, states it i a letter to their new born daughter, that they give away 99% of their facbook shares during a lifetime span. But not all in one day or at one whole time. The Media always blows stories out of proportion as they usually do with anything no matter what it is. See the facts below... Mark Zuckerberg announced Tuesday that he's giving away 99% of his Facebook shares — valued at $45 billion today — to charity during his lifetime. The Facebook CEO announced the news in a letter to his newborn daughter, Max. Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, created the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Its mission mimics much of what Zuckerberg and Chan's donations have focused on in the past: personalized learning, curing diseases, and connecting people. The move is not surprising given that five years ago Zuckerberg signed the "Giving Pledge" — along with other tech billionaires such as Bill Gates — to give away the majority of his wealth. Zuckerberg will retain control of the majority of Facebook voting rights for the foreseeable future, and has limited himself to giving away no more than $1 billion in Facebook stock each year for the next three years, according to an SEC filing. Because of Facebook's unique dual-class structure, where he owns special super voting shares, Zuckerberg can give away ordinary shares of stock while still maintaining majority control of the social network he founded in 2004. The Facebook CEO announced his donation in a letter to his newborn daughter, Max. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Letter: Today your mother and I are committing to spend our lives doing our small part to help solve these challenges. I will continue to serve as Facebook's CEO for many, many years to come, but these issues are too important to wait until you or we are older to begin this work. By starting at a young age, we hope to see compounding benefits throughout our lives. As you begin the next generation of the Chan Zuckerberg family, we also begin the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to join people across the world to advance human potential and promote equality for all children in the next generation. Our initial areas of focus will be personalized learning, curing disease, connecting people and building strong communities. We will give 99% of our Facebook shares -- currently about $45 billion -- during our lives to advance this mission. We know this is a small contribution compared to all the resources and talents of those already working on these issues. But we want to do what we can, working alongside many others. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the announcement, philanthropists such as Bill Gates and Wife congratulated the young couple on giving away the majority of their money.
Bill and Melinda Gates wrote in a press release: As for your decision to give back so generously, and to deepen your commitment now, the first word that comes to mind is: Wow. The example you’re setting today is an inspiration to us and the world. We can be confident of this: Max and every child born today will grow up in a world that is better than the one we know now. As you say, 'seeds planted now will grow.' Your work will bear fruit for many decades to come. Zuckerberg and Chan have already donated more than $1.6 billion to charity in the past decade, including a $100 million gift to the Newark Public School System, a $25 million donation to the CDC to stop the spread of Ebola, and a $120 million commitment to education in the Bay Area.
Makes You Wonder Which One Is Worse Than The Other..? Actually They're Both Worse But One Just Seems More Worse'r! Like how about the one who's an actual frigging "Police Officer!" & 'Yes, a Black Man at that! What the hell was this damn idiot thinking about when he actually (Raped) a (75 Year Old) Woman? who was also surely more helpless than normal because she had a stroke. And this fool done it 2 times, and was going to do it 3 times, until he was caught on camera! This Gary D. Baker was an unusual rare case, but people like "Jared Fogle" who raped or molested little children, "boys & girls", you usually always hear about those kind of perverted sick fools all the time. But damn man, this person who raped a paralyzed 75 year old woman was a real frigging COP! That's just as bad as the other perpetrators who mess with innocent little kids that are not in law enforcement though. This Police officer should have had (3) Life Sentences instead of (1). & Of course, The subway sandwich eating dude should have definitely have had more than a measly (15) Years in Prison! Well I guess some time, is better than no time at all... | Jared Fogle Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison For Sex With Minors, Child Pornography. -------------
U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt sentenced former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle to a prison term of more than 15 years Thursday, accepting a plea deal that sees him admit to charges of receiving child pornography and repeatedly having sex with minors. The case involved interstate travel to pay minors for sex, as well as at least 400 child pornography videos — many of which Fogle received from the head of his charity, prosecutors said at today's hearing. Fogle was sentenced to 188 months on each count, to be served concurrently. That amounts to just over 15 and a half years. "Will serve a minimum of 13 before parole. Lifetime supervised release," reports RTV6's Jordan Fischer. The sentencing hearing started at 9 a.m. ET and lasted more than four hours. We've updated this post with news from the courthouse, relying on local news reporters. The proceeding was not televised. Prosecutors had been seeking a punishment of around 12 years in prison, while Fogle's lawyers asked for a sentence of around five years. Fogle is also reportedly paying about $1.4 million in total restitution to 14 victims, some of whom live in his home state of Indiana. After going over a summary of the case, Judge Pratt issued a 188-month prison sentence for Fogle, to be served concurrently. Pratt said Fogle was "obsessed" with pornography and having sex with minors, according to WISH-TV's Tim McNicholas. Responding to Fogle's statement that his actions have devastated his wife, Judge Pratt interrupted him to say, "You gave your wife almost $7 million though. And don't worry, She'll be OK!"
| Officer Gary Dale Baker Is Convicted Of Raping a 75 Year Old Woman. --------------
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A former Sacramento police officer convicted of raping a 75-year-old stroke victim in her senior living apartment has been sentenced to life in prison, court records show. Prosecutors said Gary Dale Baker, 52, entered the woman’s apartment at least three times from 2010 to 2012, raping her twice as she suffered from a stroke-related inability to speak. He was convicted in July of nine charges relating to the case, including rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual battery and burglary. On Tuesday, Baker was sentenced to 62 years to life, meaning that he will spend the rest of his life behind bars, a spokeswoman for Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert said. ------------- The woman, now 77, was recovering from a stroke in a senior living complex in South Sacramento when the attacks began, prosecutors said. She struggled to communicate to her family what had happened, and initially, even though DNA evidence confirmed the rape, investigators were not able to link it to any known suspects, prosecutors said. But in late 2012, after Baker attempted a third assault, a Sacramento police detective suggested that the woman’s family install a motion-activated camera. When Baker came back again, police officers reviewing the footage immediately recognized him. Baker, who was then an active officer on the Sacramento police force, was arrested and fired from the department. “You tarnished the badge for police officers everywhere,” Sacramento Superior Court Judge Ernest Sawtelle said as he sentenced Baker, the Sacramento Bee newspaper reported on Wednesday. “For your crimes, you will be sentenced to life in prison.” Sawtelle called Baker’s crimes “unspeakable,” the newspaper said. Sacramento County jail records show that Baker remained in custody on Wednesday, with no listed release date. A request by his attorneys for a new trial was denied on Tuesday, records show.

"Happy Hands & Happy Feet..?" Your Nails Has Created a Big Beauty Salon Business! & Spending anywhere from $10 - $45 a pop for a manicure and $15 - $50 for a pedicure (not including tip), your weekly or monthly salon visits are costing you precious pampering dollars. No wonder it's a six billion dollar a year industry. So as you can imagine, the money you spend on these little luxuries is very important to the salon industry, meaning they will do whatever it takes to keep you coming back for more. While sometimes "whatever it takes" is going above and beyond excellent service, cleanliness and technique, it can also mean cutting corners and deceiving the salon layman in order to keep costs down and business booming.
And not to totally scare you, but what's supposed to be a luxurious treat, can sometimes turn into your worst nightmare -- think skin eating diseases and infections. While yes, millions of women get manicures each year and don't experience any serious or life-threatening side effects, you'd be naive to believe that it could never happen to you. Nail salons that have been insufficiently cleaned or performed bad sanitization practices, as well as ones with inadequately trained nail technicians, could be a breeding ground for bacteria and a dangerous place for you to "unwind." This post will show you how to save money at the salon, and your nails, and quite possibly even your life.,
#1). You Will Always Be At Risk! Near Death By Pedicure., Because an estimated one million unsuspecting clients walk out of their chosen salon with infections -- bacterial, viral and fungal." And no matter which salon you go to, there is always a risk of infection. In research "75 percent of salons in the United States are not following their own state protocols for disinfections," which includes not mixing their disinfectant solutions properly on a daily basis, not soaking their instruments appropriately, and using counterfeit products to reduce costs (for example Windex substituted for Barbicide). And the problem is that there is no way to really "verify an instrument has been properly soaked and sterilized," without watching the process.
#2.) They Never Turn Any Customers Away! Like most businesses, most nail salons won't turn away paying costumers. Which means that people who are sick, have nail infections or foot fungus are being worked on next to you instead of being referred to an appropriate medical professional.
The greatest danger of the nail salon is "The transmission of infection from one client to another." And with "millions of people whose immune systems are compromised by diabetes, HIV, cancer, hepatitis and other "infective organisms" booking services offered in nail salons, many are dangerously susceptible to infection, which is clearly a warning danger.
#3.) They Even Swap And Dilute Bottles! Many salons are filling expensive lotion bottles with a cheap generic lotion. That way the salons can charge you more for the manicure by claiming to use prestige products, but in reality are just deceiving you.
Similarly, some salons will dilute nail polish bottles that have become clumpy from old age or from too much air exposure with nail polish remover. This action compromises the quality of the polish, which will make the formula chip easier once on your nails. To ensure the life of your color and to protect any possible germ spreading, tote your own bottles.
#4.) Because You Don't Any Blood, Doesn't Mean You Haven't Been Cut & Exposed! Breaks in the skin can be microscopic or highly visible," because they can either come in with the client via "cuts, scratches, hangnails, bitten nails, insect bites, paper cuts, split cuticles or be created in the salon. Nail techs using callus-cutting tools and nail nippers, files, cuticle pushers, and electric burrs and drills, can and do scratch and nick skin," sometimes drawing blood and sometimes not. But just because no blood is visible, doesn't mean these "portals of entry" aren't susceptible to infective organisms.
If you've ever had your nails filed and it momentarily feels "too hot in the corner for even a second," then you've had the surface layer of your skin broken, and leaving it open for infection.
#5.) All Costs Are Not Mentioned And Are Not Included! Some salons will try to keep certain added costs a secret, because they try and up charge you for "nail strengtheners" or "base coats", and won't tell you until it's time to check out. But a quality nail salon will include all costs in the advertised price of the service. So make sure to ask if all costs are included before soaking your hands or feet.
#6.) Not All Disinfecting Solutions Are 100% Percent Effective! "Some infective microorganisms are easy to kill and some are not." And unfortunately, there has been "industry-wide confusion about the definition of the term "Sterilized." Many nail techs think their instruments are sterilized, when in fact, they "have no clue," because not all disinfectant solutions are powerful enough to kill all viruses. Therefore, when nail techs aren't informed of costumers' pre-existing medical conditions, they don't know how to properly disinfect for particular viruses. "These are medical situations. So manicure and pedicure-licensed technicians aren't trained for. It's not in their job description and isn't their fault as they are "neither schooled nor licensed to work in the presence of blood or to maintain a surgically sterile environment either.
#7.) An "Autoclave" Is The Only Safe Bet For Proper Sterilization! Many salons use Barbicide, UV light "sterilizer" boxes, or other chemical solutions to disinfect their tools, which is legal and standard, but not totally effective at killing (all) bacteria and infection. The only solution that works (completely) is an autoclave,. a machine used to sterilize equipment and supplies using high pressure and steam, "which kills (100%) percent of (all) infective organisms. But currently, for now, only two states (Texas and Iowa), require autoclaves in nail salons by law. Which means that "less than one percent of salons" use them regularly.
So in order to find out if your salon is using an autoclave so that you're a 100 percent protected, is to first, ask the salon manager how they disinfect their tools, and then look for the color change pouches that the instruments are prepared in. The color changes on the bag once the correct sterilization conditions have been met. This color change indicates that the object inside the package has been processed. Autoclave pouches are therefore sealed and should be opened in front of you.
#8.) When You Should Not Shave First! You shouldn't shave before getting a pedicure. Because pedicurists do (Not Care) if you have hair on your legs. Also, shaving your legs makes you more prone to infection as newly shaved legs have open pores (and often tiny nicks you can't see) that are susceptible to infectious diseases. So don't be wary of showing off some stubble at the salon.
#9.) Some Tools Just Can't Necessarily Be Sanitized! You can only put metal tools in the autoclave. And as stated before, only an autoclave kills 100 percent of all bacteria and viruses. Nail salon tools like pumice stones, emery boards, nail buffers and foam toe separators need to be swapped out after each use to prevent the spread of bacteria. That's why you're best off bringing your own, just in case the salon doesn't follow this practice. If you see any white residue on a nail file, it means it's been used on someone else.
#10.) You Really Don't Necessarily Need To Have Your Calluses Removed! Many salons will try and talk you into callous removal, as it is usually an additional service and charge. If you're an athlete then you should never remove your calluses as these actually help level your performance. If you are not an athlete, you should have your calluses removed with a deep soak and scrub once they become thick and uncomfortable. So if you do opt for callous removal, always choose scrubbing or a chemical remover. Never allow your nail technician to cut or shave the skin off your feet. "Cutting is still cutting," and is not recommended. Not to mention, the more you cut, the thicker the calluses will grow back too...
We Already Know Which One Is The Prettiest, & Which One Is The Ugliest... Muhammad Ali Made Boxing Become More Alive Thru Out His Whole Boxing Career! Floyd Mayweather Jr. Nearly Made Boxing Become More Dead Within Just The Last Half Of His Boxing Career! (Intelligence vs Ignorance) Muhammad Ali is obviously the one who has always represented himself to the world his great "Intelligence!" along with his graceful great boxing skill(s). And of course, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out or know that Floyd Mayweather Jr. of course, is the one who has always shown the world much of his "Ignorance!" along with his clever clinching and lesser skill. An in his last most recent fight that Mayweather Jr. just had with Manny Pacquiao, a few Months ago this year, Mayweather Jr. really displayed a more like 'scared-boxer' type of fighter, rather than a more skillful one. Because every time he got into a real combative pugilistic fist-scrap, he (Immediately) grabbed Pacquiao, his opponent, "Repeatedly!" and holds/held on for dear life! With a series of (Hugs/Clinch's) as a way of survival! No real 'true-champion' has ever fought like that before. And any one who literally fears getting out-boxed and out punched, and reaches out to hug and holds every time he/they exchange shots/blows, is clearly a boxer who's not a real and authentic true champion! That's more like one who's a wimp, or mostly a real coward.
No offense, but the facts simply does speaks for itself. But based on the rules of boxing, is the reason why one could justify themselves to cleverly and dirtily win the bout. So it does not by any means classify one as the best ever, only maybe the best ever at cheating to win. But surely not the greatest at all. That's why Floyd Mayweather Jr. will never be considered anywhere near the level of Muhammad Ali was on during his time in the ring. Just like "Julio Cesar Chavez" of (88-0) record wins almost nearly doubled both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Rocky Marciano's undefeated record, but yet, neither one of those fighters was never considered a real master tech at their craft. Only Muhammad Ali was by far, the only boxer who displayed some form of seemingly incredible and amazing skillful tactics thru out his entire professional boxing career! And to the extent of what he did in the boxing ring every time he fought, but seriously what he also accomplished outside of the boxing ring as well.
When Floyd Mayweather Jr. was getting ready to fight Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather Jr. didn't like that the media, and the world, classified him as Evil! & the title was; (Good vs Evil) But Mayweather Jr. had long ago "painted" himself as a bad or evil dirty person! So what the heck did he expect, when thru out his whole boxing career, all you mostly heard from him in front of the cameras is seriously repulsive bad/foul language! The idiot displayed his "Ignorance" for so many years! Unlike Muhammad Ali, who has always displayed "Intelligence" thru out his whole boxing career. The only real bad thing that Ali did in public view was cheating on his wife, which is bad of course, but also, Ali won more praise when he refused to go to Vietnam to fight in a War to kill innocent Asian/Oriental People! So the U.S. Government took his title, and his boxing license, for (3-1/2) Years! Mayweather Jr. only went to jail for just barely (2) Months! for beating up his children's Mother.
Furthermore, Mayweather Jr. basically cherry-picked or hand picked most of his opponents! A Real Champion will face anyone with merit who challenges him! Because that's what a real Champion Boxer/Fighter is always suppose to do in defending his title. And you don't just stay home being protected because you might be the Cities "Cash-Cow" to not loose a bout. You leave the nest to challenge other better fighters to really prove you're the Greatest! or the supposed "TBE". And Mayweather Jr.has never done that like other real Champions have in the past. And plus, at the so-called Nevada Boxing Hall Of Fame ceremony, Mayweather jr. Purposely refused to mention (Muhammad Ali) among all the legendary champions when he gave his silly speech. Because what he must have forgotten, is that just about (All) of those legendary champions was (Inspired) by Muhammad Ali! So Mayweather Jr. obviously still Envy's Muhammad Ali, no matter how much more money Mayweather Jr. keep making.
So, Mayweather Jr. is just basically (NO) real comparison to The True Greatest Boxer Ever! Which of course, is (Muhammad Ali.) It also seems like Ali invented Rap too..lol Because he sure was a very smart and intelligent "Poet!" along with his great boxing ability. But not Mayweather Jr. Far a long shot! So either way, looks like Mayweather Jr. will never have to go to the real extent as that of Muhammad Ali went in boxing. And especially out side of the boxing ring too! Because this evidence shines reality on the honest and true facts of who was the real Greatest Boxer Ever, and Who really isn't at all... I Am The Greatest! Say's Muhammad Ali... Know These Major Factors., Real and True Champions like (Jack Johnson, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, and Manny Pacquiao) do/did what a champion is/was suppose to do. And that's "FIGHT!" and Go to other Countries on other peoples "Turf" and prove to beat their ass! Like a Champion has always done since the beginning. That's what a real boxing great will do, and not be cherry-hand-picking either. Floyd Mayweather Jr. "Never" did what those other better champions did at all. So read on to view more facts. And furthermore, Mayweather Jr. used that weak 'azz' excuse of not wanting to get hit and that he want his mind to stay clear and intact, when in all actuality he just simply could not take a really "Hard" punch! And that's why Mayweather Jr. will quickly use the 'old-health' issue as an excuse. because he knows that he can't really take a hard punch. And he's afraid he loose! And using his uncle Roger Mayweather as a whip-clause clearly proves it, when in fact that you don't get "No-Damn" Diabetes from frigging Boxing! & You especially don't get Parkinson's Disease from Boxing either! Just as Muhammad Ali has it, but yet for further proof, "Micheal J. Fox" has Parkinson's and he was Never a Boxer... Rocky Marciano was the best great white hope since a long time of waiting. But even he was a bit jealous of Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali. Because he had nerve to talk trash about Ali, but never was gonna come out, or never wanted to come out of retirement to try to shut Ali's mouth up either! He knew better. Muhammad Ali would have slapped him around the ring all night. But Ali still tried to show respect for the man regardless, and especially when Marciano died... Muhammad Ali vs Rocky Marciano In 1969. (Face The Facts!)
Muhammad Ali was the only Boxer in the world who could and would actually "Predict" what he and his opponent would do in a round, and actually ended up doing it! Yes, It really happened many times! More than (80% to 90%) of Ali's predictions really came true. And no one else, or no other boxer has ever done that in boxing, and no one else, or any other boxer will ever do that in boxing again! And for a Heavy Weight, Muhammad Ali was even faster than any "Light-Weight". His feet, hands, & mouth, was far too quick. He could stand there in front of his opponent and only move his head and neck, and not even get hit. What got him later was (Parkinson's.) And that, you don't get from boxing at all. Ali had it while he continued boxing, which is why many people thought he got it from boxing. Plus, during Ali's era, he fought (15) rounds! and not just (12).
But to claim to be the Greatest or even the so-called best ever, one would have actually fight more than once or twice a "Year!" And also, not turn down fights with major opponents in their prime, as well as be willing to leave your nest to fight elsewhere in an area where the judges will judge a more fair bout. And, also, one would have to make up their own styles, and not copy others. Ali had invented his own styles, like the 'rope-a-dope' & the Ali shuffle/dance. And Ali was the only boxer who used many right hand-leads too. But Mayweather Jr. used Ali's style or tactic of the right hand leads on many occasions, but when Mayweather tried to use the rope-a-dope, it did not work for him like it did with Muhammad Ali.
So, for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to claim to be the best ever, or "TBE". He would first have to stand up and actually do some real fighting, and not holding/hugging in a so-called clinch! just to escape danger when facing someone who he obviously can't beat in a straight-up real boxing fist fight! "Real Champions" (Bravely Fight) when faced with the potential danger of another good or better boxer! And not hold, hug, or clinch., Because too much frigging clinching and not half enough boxing only proves one to be scared! or afraid that they can't win a fair "toe-to-toe" duel! So that's just the honest truth... This Was The (Biggest) Fight In Up To Date Boxing History,. And Yet, Shamefully, It Turned Out To Be The Worst Fight, In (All) Up To Date Boxing History! (05/02/15.) As you can see here, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Was Definitely Correct When He Said Quote: "I-Know-How-To-Win!" Yup, that's absolutely right. He knew exactly how to get away with dirty legal tactics to win the match, but he did not actually beat his opponent at all! Because Mayweather Jr. really won the fight, but yet, he absolutely did (Not) beat Manny Pacquiao! He kept holding and, grabbing, and hugging the man like a woman does with her husband. I'm glad that I didn't see Mayweather try to Kiss Pac-Man with all that dog-gon hugging and clinching that he was doing. What a joke! Not what you would expect a real champion to do, if he claims to be the so-called best ever. Aint no frigging way! But Pacquiao never should have lied about a fake arm injury either! He should have just told the truth that Mayweather Jr. frustrated him so bad that he didn't wana keep fighting no more. And that would have been a better statement to make, if not a more appropriate one. Now you see my major point... Plus Floyd Mayweather Jr. scary fake punk-ass actually used (IV-Sports Enhancement Drugs) on top of that too! What a phony hypocrite in that regard too. Because he really was so unsure and afraid of Manny Pacquiao that he used (PED's) tpo fight him. When for so long, of almost (5) years Mayweather Jr was always accusing Pac-Man of using drugs to cheat, but in all actuality Mayweather Jr.'s team admitted it, but claimed it was only vitamins. I'm like whaaaaaat??? Really??? Yeah, right. What a damn lie! & what a phony wana-be-great fake... | Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Use Of Illegal IV-Injection Drugs To Cheat In Pacquiao Fight! This man on that so-called sports-talk show really needs to stop sucking up to Floyd Mayweather Jr. so much! Because although it's true that Mayweather Jr. admitted using the IV-Injection to Fight Manny Pacquiao, and claim it was only vitamins just to cover up the drugs he used. But this dude seems like he's trying to get some favorable brownie-points from Mayweather Jr's pack. Especially since Mayweather Jr. personally invited this dude to his home and catered to him in shear luxury... | In (1969) Muhammad Ali aka "Cassius Clay" actually did have a Boxing Fight with Rocky Marciano! The fact of the matter is that Muhammad Ali & Rocky Marciano only had an (Exhibition-Type-Boxing) match. It was more like a show-off show fight to generate revenue, and since Ali wasn't able to legally fight due to his refusal in 1967. to be inducted in the military draft for the Vietnam War! So he and Marciano did an exhibition fight, which of course Ali did out box Marciano, won it. Neither fighter was putting much effort in it, but Ali clearly had the edge anyway, considering his skill, youth, and speed... | Literally From The Very Beginning., (Boxing) Has Been Around For Ages! | Origin An Olympic sport Since 688 B.C/B.C.E
While people have fought in hand-to-hand combat since before the dawn of history, the origin of boxing as an organized sport may be its acceptance by the ancient Greeks as an Olympic game in BC 688. Boxing evolved from 16th- and 18th-century prizefights, largely in Great Britain, to the forerunner of modern boxing in the mid-19th century, again initially in Great Britain and later in the United States.
Early Boxing type fighting had no written rules. There were no weight divisions or round limits, and no referee. In general, it was extremely chaotic. The first boxing rules, called the Broughton's rules, were introduced by champion Jack Broughton in 1743 to protect fighters in the ring where deaths sometimes occurred. Under these rules, if a man went down and could not continue after a count of 30 seconds, the fight was over.
Boxers use to fight more than 25, 50, and even 100 rounds! Hitting a downed fighter and grasping below the waist were prohibited. Broughton encouraged the use of 'mufflers', a form of padded bandage or mitten, to be used in 'jousting' or sparring sessions in training, and in exhibition matches. ------------------------------------------------------ MMA/UFC has been counting every match to compete with Boxing! But unfortunately, it has more than 1000 more years of counting to keep on doing in order to catch up to boxing... | Modern Day Pro-Boxing Gloves | Modern Nowadays MMA/UFC Gloves | | Before After (Boxing-Now) Origin of 'MMA' The first documented use of the name mixed martial arts was in a review of UFC 1 by television critic Howard Rosenberg, in 1993. The term gained popularity when the website newfullcontact.com, then one of the biggest covering the sport, hosted and reprinted the article. The first use of the term by a promotion was in September 1995 by Rick Blume, president and CEO of Battlecade Extreme Fighting, just after UFC 7. UFC official Jeff Blatnick was responsible for the Ultimate Fighting Championship officially adopting the name mixed martial arts. Previously marketed as "Ultimate Fighting" and "No Holds Barred (NHB)", Blatnick and John McCarthy proposed the name 'MMA' at the UFC 17 rules meeting in response to increased public criticism. The question on who actually coined the name is a question still in debate. | International Boxing Hall Of Fame 360 N Peterboro St., Canastota, NY. 13032 founded in 1990.
At the 2012. Newly made Las Vegas so-called Nevada Boxing Hall Of Fame, which is really no real comparison to the real original International Boxing Hall Of Fame in Canastota, New York. That was built in 1990. But, this one in Las Vegas, basically inducted a few boxers/fighters, and was their way of trying to arrange a way to put Floyd Mayweather Jr. on a Scale contrary to Muhammad Ali. But with no original merit whatsoever. However, what got me is the fact that Floyd Mayweather Jr. "Purposely" tried to rule out Muhammad Ali. He mentioned Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Marvin Haggler, Sugar-Ray Leonard, and so on. But refused to say anything about Muhammad Ali. But Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes, and even Sugar Ray Leonard will tell you Muhammad Ali (Inspired) all of them to be a Boxer! That's shows how Mayweather Jr. Envy's the (Clout) that Muhammad Ali had, and still have to this very day! Mayweather Jr. just simply will never have it, so he should just be happy with what he does have, and be satisfied knowing that he's made the most money than any other boxer in the world. Although Mayweather is still not a (Billionaire) like the one and only Greatest Basketball Player Ever, Mr. Michael Jordan! M.J. is the (Only) and The (First) Athlete to become a Billionaire! And his Jordan signature shoes has just as much hype as Nike Shoes. | This Is My Actual Words On The Whole Issue Of PRO-BOXING-/MMA/UFC Plus Muhammad Ali & Mayweather Jr. | This Is Mayweather Jr.'s Deliberate Dis-Acknowledgment Or His Ignorance Of Muhammad Ali's Greatness In Boxing. | Ignorant As Usual, & Disobedient To Parents With Plenty Of Disrespect! & In Front Of The Whole Damn Frigging World. | The Real People's Champion, & Always Using Intelligence When Speaking In Front Of The Whole Damn World. | Notice how this idiot, Mayweather Jr. Contradict himself, and especially when he said that he took styles or moves from other legendary champions, he failed to mention that the 'right-hand-leads' that he obviously copied from Muhammad Ali! & the fact that when Mayweather said that sometimes he wanted to be a killer like Mike Tyson. Well that's really out of the question when considering the fact that the only way that Mayweaher Jr. can be a supposed killer like Mike Tyson, he would first have to actually "Stand" and Fight! And not grab, hold, and hug his opponents when he's faced with an obvious better boxer! That is not real boxing/fighting as a true and real champion no matter what he says or claims to wana-be...
My Biggest (Dispute) Against "Dumb-Azz" Parents With Guns In The Homes Of Their Children, And When In Care Of Other Peoples Kids In Their Same Homes With Those Guns! Yes, It's quite true that there are so many untold true stories about stupid mindless parents who don't think before having a gun(s) in their homes when they have kids that can, and usually will end up shooting and killing either themselves or their parents! And here is some bit of proven evidence of how true this statement really is. Just like this recent accidental shooting from a (2-Year-Old) who shot his own father and killed him! The Child's Dad sleeping with his gun under his pillow, and allowing the kid to get a hold of it, ended in tragedy. And like before, especially with the incident at (Walmart) with a stupid dumb woman who actually had a loaded gun in her purse with her (2-Year-Old) child who had easy access to the gun and used it to shoot (3) little girls! Yup, "Seriously-Dumb-&-Stupid-Parents!" It's just so 'friggin' careless. And you can see what I actually had said about the whole ordeal, and why I said or made my statement in the video that I post at the ending of this post... Divine Chambliss, 31, was napping when his son found his gun and accidentally killed him, reported police. (Photo: Facebook) A young father was found shot to death in an apartment outside Birmingham, Ala., on Aug. 18 — and if that weren’t terrible enough, it appeared that his 2-year-old son pulled the trigger. Divine Vaniah Chambliss, 31, was watching his son while the boy’s mother was at work, according to AL.com. At about 3 p.m., the mom arrived at the apartment where she lives with her son and the couple’s daughter, who was at school. She found Chambliss unresponsive. “I hurt my dad,” the little boy told his mom after she discovered his father and called police, reported AL.com. First responders, who made it to the apartment 10 minutes later, found the man in bed with a single gunshot wound to the head and pronounced him dead. The coroner’s office hasn’t yet issued an official ruling confirming that the toddler accidentally murdered his dad. But according to a police statement, that appears to be what happened. “Detectives have considered every possible scenario in an attempt to determine who shot the victim,” said the statement, which was posted on Facebook on Aug. 19. “There is still no indication that an intruder or any third person was involved in this incident. Physical evidence has also helped us determine that the victim could not have shot himself,” continued the statement. “All indications at this point still lead us to believe the child found the loaded handgun and accidentally shot his father.” Chambliss carried a gun in a holster at all times, his family told AL.com, because he worked as a security guard at his church. He always kept the safety on, they maintained. When he lay down for a nap while watching his son, he apparently put the semiautomatic gun under a pillow — and they believe that the boy found it and began playing with it. The incident is a heartbreaking reminder that a gun in the home is 22 percent more likely to be used in a homicide, suicide, or accidental shooting than in self-defense, according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. And though no national statistics are kept on the number of kids who accidentally fire a gun and injure or kill another child or adult, sadly, this kind of horrific tragedy has happened before. Just last week, a Georgia woman was mortally wounded when her 4-year-old son shot her in the head. Mother and son were sitting in her parked car when the boy found the gun, thought it was a toy, and fired. And in December 2014, a 29-year-old Idaho mom shopping at Walmart with her 2-year-old son and three nieces was shot in the head when the toddler unzipped her handgun from a compartment in her purse and fired it.

Some parents just seem to be not worthy of being a parent, or really seem like they have "NO" right to be a parent if they are going to be so irresponsible... | Tessa Underhill, at the playground where she and her late 2 year old son Tristan used to come to play. She is holding an urn with his ashes.Stephen Morton for The New York Times Tessa Underhill, whose son Tristan was killed last year in Georgia, has also struggled over where to draw the line. As a former corrections officer and Army veteran, she is no stranger to firearms. She used to enjoy going out shooting. Now she is finished with guns, refusing to allow them in her house.
“My child living is more important to me than somebody stealing my flat screen,” she said.
She knows, however, that her husband, whom she is in the process of divorcing, still has a rifle. Her other son, Matthew, now 6, is therefore still exposed to firearms. When asked if she would want Matthew to go shooting with his father one day or be a gun owner himself, she paused.
“That’s a hard question,” she said. “I know that’s something men do, that fathers and sons do.”
“You need to know how to use one,” she added. “Do I want him to have a gun case full of guns? If he keeps them unloaded and is safe about it.” Click This Button Link Below To View The Whole Report For Yourself! |
Jay Leno Hit The Nail Right On The Top Of The Head! This is quite (True & Absolutely Correct!) Because it is a fact that the ridiculously "Over-Priced" European sports cars have always been unfairly overrated with high price tags that doesn't match up to their over-all supposed car quality! And to mention that when you have a German made vehicle for longer than a a couple of years, then you began to see and feel the decreasing and difference in the long haul over all "Quality-Deterioration" rather quickly! But however, The "Top" Advanced Engineered Quality of the All-American Corvette has a far much lower price tag, with tremendous "Aerodynamic" attributes, and an outstanding power-train warranty that (No) other auto manufacturer can ever top or match up to. You get the most Superiorly Mastered Machine for an "Unbelievably Reasonable Price!" that makes you feel like you're either rich to have it, or it makes you feel like a smart thief who have just Stolen it! And the only reason why ford ended up looking good because they didn't take the bail-out money like GM & Dodge, is because Ford was confident that they would be able to repay the loan back to the U.S. Government! So it made the company look strong, even though they wasn't, bet it made the American public put money into Ford and buy their products more faster, that it prevented ford from filing bankruptcy. And if you go to Lenovo's website, you will actually see their advertised slogan as if they were the ones who invented Motorola! But that's obviously (NOT) True! And this posting will help clear that up right to the main and last point... | Motorola Solutions CEO On The Google-Motorola Merger, Patents And Brand
Google’s August announcement that it would acquire Motorola Mobility surprised many people in the telecom industry. Among them: Motorola Solutions Chief Executive Greg Brown. The news was of particular interest to Brown since he served as CEO of the old Motorola, Inc. from Jan. 2008 until the company split in two pieces this past January. Since then, Brown has been CEO of Motorola Solutions, an independent, publicly traded company that inherited Motorola’s enterprise-focused businesses of two-way radios, bar-code scanners and wireless broadband networks. (For a look at Motorola Solutions’ future, see my magazine story, The Other Motorola.) Motorola Mobility was the other company created by Motorola, Inc.’s split. It took over the company’s consumer cellphone and set-top box divisions. It was the timing of Google’s announcement that startled Brown. “It was relatively quick,” he noted in an interview at Motorola Solutions’ Schaumburg, Ill. headquarters. Like Motorola Solutions, Motorola Mobility was formed in January, so Google’s news came just seven months after Mobility was established. Brown may have been surprised, but he said he understood the merger’s logic. The deal will give Google — and the many companies that produce devices based on its Android mobile platform — access to Motorola Mobility’s 24,000 patents. The common interpretation of the swap is that the patents will help Google and its Android partners defend themselves against lawsuits from competitors like Apple and Microsoft. Motorola Mobility, in turn, will gain financial stability from being part of Google. Brown appeared to agree with that view. “Mobility’s attractiveness to Google was primarily patent-driven,” he said. “The combination makes great sense.” Brown’s support for the acquisition stems, in part, from the fact that he doesn’t foresee any drawbacks for Motorola Solutions. Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility share two things: intellectual property and their iconic brand name. The allocation of those assets entailed a lot of thought and negotiation before Motorola, Inc.’s split, according to Brown. Fortunately for Motorola Solutions, both agreements were structured to withstand a change in control from a merger or acquisition. That means Motorola Solutions will maintain access — through a cross-license — to Motorola Mobility’s 24,000 patents, even after Google acquires Mobility. The cross-license is non-exclusive and viable only for the lives of the patents but should shield Motorola Solutions from future patent-related lawsuits. Brown isn’t overly worried about patent suits, anyway. Motorola Solutions’ sale of its wireless network infrastructure business to Nokia Siemens Networks earlier this year ratcheted down the company’s risk, said Brown. Most of the telecom industry’s big patent fights focus on the cellular and wireless technologies that power consumer cellphones and tablets and the networks that support them, not the walkie-talkies and business-centric computing devices Motorola Solutions makes. Motorola Solutions will also keep the Motorola name regardless of what Google decides to do with it. (Options for Google include keeping the name, winding it down or combining it somehow with Google’s own brand.) Motorola Mobility technically owns the name but Solutions has an exclusive license that is designed to act in perpetuity.
Motorola Solutions simply needs to stay out of Mobility’s core market of consumer gadgets, much as it has since January. “We could make a [consumer] cellphone but can’t call it Motorola,” explained Brown. “Google could call its handsets Motorola or use the bat-wing [logo]. Whatever they do won’t affect what we do.” Brown also views Google’s $12.5 billion offer for Motorola Mobility as a sign that Motorola, Inc.’s split was the right move. “It reaffirms, more than anything, exactly why we separated the company,” he said. “There would be no way to get that value unlocked by keeping all these assets together.”
| Google Keeps ‘Vast Majority’ Of Motorola Mobility Patents In Sale To Lenovo
Motorola Mobility (has been) "Sold" to Lenovo, in a deal worth $2.91B. Google is divesting itself of the handset division it purchased for $12.5B in 2011, but it will keep some of the assets — including patents. “Google will maintain ownership of the vast majority of the Motorola Mobility patent portfolio, including current patent applications and invention disclosures,” says Motorola Mobility CEO Dennis Woodside. “As part of its ongoing relationship with Google, Lenovo will receive a license to this rich portfolio of patents and other intellectual property. Additionally Lenovo will receive over 2,000 patent assets, as well as the Motorola Mobility brand and trademark portfolio.” When Google purchased Motorola Mobility, much of the discussion swirled around whether it was buying it simply to own a hardware pipeline on which to deliver its Android juice — or whether it wanted patents for protection. The answer, as is typical, lay somewhere in the middle. Though the Motorola patents never turned out to by incredibly effective winning solo battles against Google’s patent enemies, they did work as a part of a larger tactic which has seen Google aligning itself via cross-licensing with OEMs like Samsung. One segment of the statement by Woodside was interesting: ------------- Since being acquired by Google in 2012, Motorola has transformed itself, focusing on solving real consumer problems and providing amazing experiences built on a foundation of pure Android. The result has been Moto X, Moto G, and a reinvigorated Droid line. Together, these devices have won over consumers and critics alike and helped re-establish the Motorola brand around the world. ------------ Indeed, Google’s purchase and investments in Motorola did raise the flagging manufacturer’s profile significantly over the intervening years. They have several well-received smartphones on the market and have made a lot of noise about technology innovations in wearable computing and DARPA-think-tank-director hires. Google sold off several aspects of its initial Motorola purchase including its cable box business. And it managed to leverage the patents — which Google valued at $5.5B — to at least some positive outcome. So, while the monetary ‘wins’ or ‘losses’ here are one for the bean counters to figure out, the strategic victories for Google may actually be fairly strong. According to some maths from analyst Benedict Evans, Google’s total outlay may have been closer to $7.15B than $12B — the divestitures, retention of patents and the sale price would cut the plain monetary loss down further to under $2B. There is now a renewed Android vendor on the market peddling Google’s OS, in the care of Lenovo, the logistics firm that made IBM’s old enterprise business the biggest consumer computer retailer in the world. And it has some new cross-licensing agreements on patents — the majority of which it gets to keep. And, with the purchase of Nest, it has a fresh young hardware company with a design focus and a set of high-profile talent. “As a side note, this does not signal a larger shift for our other hardware efforts,” noted Google CEO Larry Page in an announcement . “The dynamics and maturity of the wearable and home markets, for example, are very different from that of the mobile industry. We’re excited by the opportunities to build amazing new products for users within these emerging ecosystems.” It may look bad in the raw math, but may not turn out so bad for all parties when the pieces settle into place.
| Lastly, I will say this much, considering all the superior advanced technology that came from the "Original" Motorola Company, and with what amount that Google has done with the Moto X. & Moto G., and then, with what Lenovo brings to the table from itself as well. So, with that being said, I surely do believe that I will continue to stick with the (Motorola-Brand) regardless of the Chinese Lenovo company that acquired it. Because the solid in-tell, is still (All) American! and and is very reasonable in "Price!" as well as with Outstanding Quality! And to what you actually get for the money. But at least, I give Lenovo some credit for trying to beef-it up a bit., Or, to enhance the current features of the long ago established-patents. So right now, when it go's on the market next Month of September, you will get The Moto X Style with a camera of (21 Mega Pixels), and with a front face 5MP. with led to catch your face/selfie. And up to a total of between (64 GB's. to 128 GB's.) "I'm like Wow!" Aint no way that I would even consider ever wanting to take a (Bite) out of Apple! Nor, I would not even be singing a note to Samsung either! I will continue to be a (Moto-Man) for quite some time...
This Is Why I Will Always Want "General Motors!" (The Winners Who All came Together Under One Roof) And Formed The "General Of All Motors!"
Ransom E. Olds= Founded Oldsmobile in (1895.) David Buick, Bill Durant, Fred Smith., & Later On, Louis Chevrolet. (1911.) Henry M Leland-worked for Oldsmobile Founded Cadillac & Lincoln and sold Caddy to GM, and Lincoln to Henry Ford. General Motors, has always had the best record in overall automotive quality and satisfaction! And not to mention, the longest lasting vehicles on the road that takes very little or sometimes very low maintenance, in keeping the automobiles running longer. With Oldsmobile being the actual start of it all, & GM is the one big company responsible for the auto industry! With Ford being the first to sell it's vehicles more affordable to the open public, rather than to only a certain few wealthy people or organizations like GM first did. However, Rapid Motor Company, aka-GMC-Truck,. was the first to invent the actual pick up truck in (1901.) They've also created the first 19 passenger bus. And for the record, to be "clear," Oliver Evens was the first To be invent the automobile and the first to be granted a patent for the very first car in the USA. And "Karl Benz" made the his supposed car in (1888.) but it wasn't a real care, it was more like a engine powered (3) wheel bike! And not a real car at all. Either way, America was the real first to invent cars and trucks! And The U.S.A. Is The very "Best" at it, regardless of how many other countries make copies. Especially Japan! To be the best replicators, with Toyota/Honda/Nissan. But however, I'd still settle for one of those Japanese brands before I would ever want to own another German Car again! I had too much trouble with those over-priced, German hard-rough riding vehicles! Eeeh-Yuck., New 21st. Dodge-The-New-Ghetto-Mobile/s. Yesterday, 7/24/2015. Was The first remote hacking of a new vehicle has lead to the first recall over hacking fears. Fiat-Chrysler said today it was launching a voluntary recall of 1.4 million cars, trucks and SUVs out of “an abundance of caution,” following a demonstration earlier this week by Wired magazine from two hackers who took remote control of a Jeep Cherokee’s brakes and other systems. The hackers gained access through the Uconnect touchscreen entertainment system — a route they said could be available to any Fiat-Chrysler vehicle with the system installed. The recall covers vehicles equipped with 8.4-inch touchscreens, including: 2013-2015 Dodge Vipers 2013-2015 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups 2013-2015 Ram 3500, 4500, 5500 Chassis Cabs 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Cherokees 2014-2015 Dodge Durangos 2015 Chrysler 200, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger sedans 2015 Dodge Challengers http://www.wired.com/2015/07/hackers-remotely-kill-jeep-highway/ In 1998, Chrysler merged with German automaker Daimler-Benz AG to form DaimlerChrysler; the merger proved contentious with investors and Chrysler was sold to Cerberus Capital Management and renamed Chrysler LLC in 2007. Like the other Big Three automobile manufacturers, Chrysler was hit hard by the automotive industry crisis of 2008–2010. Through a combination of negotiations with creditors, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization on April 30, 2009, and participating in a bailout from the U.S. government through the T.A.R.P. program, Chrysler managed to remain in business. On June 10, 2009, Chrysler emerged from the bankruptcy proceedings with the United Auto Workers pension fund, Fiat S.p.A., and the U.S. and Canadian governments as principal owners. The bankruptcy resulted in Chrysler defaulting on over $4 billion in debts. By May 24, 2011, Chrysler finished repaying its obligations to the U.S. government five years early, although the cost to the American taxpayer was $1.3 billion. Over the next few years Fiat gradually acquired the other parties' shares while removing much of the weight of the loans (which carried a 21% interest rate) in a short period. On January 1, 2014, Fiat S.p.A announced a deal to purchase the rest of Chrysler from the United Auto Workers retiree health trust. The deal was completed on January 21, 2014, making Chrysler Group a subsidiary of Fiat S.p.A.[4] In May 2014, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, NV was born by merging Fiat S.p.A. into the company. This was completed in August 2014. Chrysler Group LLC remained a subsidiary until December 15, 2014, when it was renamed FCA US LLC, to reflect the Fiat-Chrysler merger.
What a Dumb Move Dodge Made! Now They're Not Really a True American Brand Anymore! So now I know why I keep seeing so many ghetto dodge cars a lot within mostly, and sometimes, only the (Black & Spanish) people's community! That's another reason why you see at the dealerships the dodge vehicles come with big size tire rims already "Ghetto-Rized" up to target the Black Folks, and the Hispanic Folks, and not too many of the White/Indian/Asian Folks. So they really have been pushing the Chrysler product in that way more than any other way. And now you see how easy it is for some hacker to control those cheap vehicles when you're behind the wheel with limited control! And I sure as heck don't want one...
